Can we talk about how Roy spent five months guilt-ridden and terrified to tell Oliver the truth about Thea, and when he finally does, Oliver simply says “Okay” and makes quiet plans to go get her?
Because I have a lot of feelings about that.
the look of relief on Roy’s face when Oliver didn’t yell at him really makes me wonder about Roy’s childhood but God bless the writers for getting that scene so right
Yes—this is such a great point. And I actually read that scene as Oliver realizing that Roy was so scared to tell him, and felt so terrible about it, that a) there was nothing more Oliver needed to do to make it clear that Roy should have told him, and b) maybe he’s too hard on Roy, on everyone, sometimes. There was a sadness there, beyond just his grief.
